Great location and lovely building. Inside nothing impressive. Such a shame, beautiful old building and it’s now a chippy… not a good one I’ve had better. Alittle pricey for fast food but I guess it’s to be expected since it’s in Broad Street. It’s just regular food you get in any chippy, you’d think it will be different woth their signature food or style. It’s not bad but I wouldn’t rush to go back again soon.

First things first, my review is based solely on visits late on Friday and Saturday nights. Therefore, my reviews may be inspired by alcohol, but for many people, that’s what Big Bite’s there for. Situated on Broad Street, Big Bite is in an ideal location for club revelers looking for something to eat after a nights partying. With an array or burgers, chicken burgers, chicken nuggets, kebabs and chips with a variety of sauces to choose from. Cheap and cheerful, I have headed down Broad Street to Big Bite on countless occasions and expect to continue to do so throughout the whole of this summer.

Big Bite is ideal and a quick means to an end for that all important snack or filler, after a long night out. Although convenient, I wasn’t too happy with the service in here. The cashiers were busy texting and you are almost made to feel that your inconveniencing them by placing an order. I had to wait for ages, and the pizza wasn’t that great either. Considering there is a large selection of places to eat on Broad St, with similar dishes and take away food, this is a bit of a disappointment. It’s poor, not the best, and I’ll avoid this one in future. Better service heading opposite the road and getting a bag of chips instead! Don’t bother with this one.

Open extra-late of a Friday and Saturday night and conveniently located on Broad Street, right opposite the likes of O’Neil’s and Walkabout, this tasty takeaway is a great place to stumble into after a long night partying. The staff aren’t exactly what you’d call friendly, but they are efficient, and the prices charged here are very reasonable; exactly what you need when seeking a spontaneous, half-drunken food purchase. Seating is available inside and everything is remarkably clean considering Big Bite’s main clientele. Things can get a little rowdy and hectic around club kicking-out time, but if you’re visiting either for an evening snack, or before 3am late-night, you’re likely to have a very pleasant experience here. The chicken burgers are both delicious and great value for money, and the pizza tastes great too. The only real downside of the place is that it has no toilet facilities for customers.
