Currys PC World

Black Birmingham opened around 2010 or 2011 on the High Street in Birmingham — Feel free to correct me with the year.
And it opened as a concept store making it unique within the brand of PC World and Currys which had moved from their lofty highs in the top floor of Bullring.
So here are the plus points. You can go and touch the demonstration items on display.
However buying something seems to be a challenge unless its an of the shelf product.
You have to find the «correct» member of staff.
I ordered online for a pay and collect laptop. (I’m writing my review on it and it works so here’s the two stars)
I found myself being asked 3 different add on items. I then had to join a different queue after paying only to be told that I’d been sent to the wrong desk.
I then found they hadn’t even brought the item from the stock room. It had been over 90 minutes since I’d placed my online order.
They were apologetic but I still spent 25 minutes in a store that should have had the product ready behind the counter for me to walk up and pay for.
Still I have a new laptop and it works well… Which is A-​ok!
