KFC

My Local KFC. Small dining area, so take out definitely recommended. Fast customer service and food is normally ready without undue delay. This KFC seems to be constantly busy — which is a good sign. Gets very busy of an evening. Some parking available on the main road or otherwise, turn left at Robin hood island and park on Baldwins lane.

I have used this KFC approx 30 times in the past 5 years, I prefer this one over the Acocks Green KFC because it is much quicker even though it is generally busier. The staff are quite miserable apart from the lovely Irish lady who normally takes my orders. Generally everything is ok until last week. which has prompted this review. I ordered the deluxe boneless box (12 piece-£16.99) when I arrived home it was missing 2 portions of chicken, 2 portions of fries, popcorn chicken and, the tomato ketchup pot was sat in the coleslaw! Pretty annoying when it’s 8pm and you’ve just returned home from parents’ evening and everyone is starving. I rang and spoke to the manager (supposedly), and I tried several times to explain the situation. He seemed busy and my call was obviously unwelcome. We could not manage to reach a satisfactory resolve. therefore we decided to make do and cut our loses. Conclusion Quick service, but make sure you have a quick check to see if anything is missing. We will not be using this store againbut that’s only due to that specific personal experience.

Great little Takeaway, recently been refurbished, very clean and no matter how long the queue the staff seem to get the job done quickly and efficiently. The food is good and they are pretty good at adapting the food to suit your needs, if you have fussy children like me who wont go near anything green then they dont find it a major problem doing burgers etc plain or with different sauces etc.
