Berated by a weirdo and let down by a Burrito — I was burrated at the Windsor. If you want a decent Burrito and a lunch without being made to feel awkward, go elsewhere. Brown lettuce, no sauce, cold rice, cold wrap, the list goes on. Not cheap either. Two stars for the chips.

The burrito was not as described and came with half a plate of brown salad. The chef should also learn the difference between a burrito and a fajita as this was in no way a burrito, more a fajita with cold rice. Completely let down by a rather expensive pub lunch compared to a Wetherspoons burrito which is half the price with a pint included. My mate Barry didnt bother finishing his as he was completely appalled by the state of each element on his plate. Learn from your competition!

Went with some friends to introduce them to «pub food» and we were very happy! Food was good and the price reasonable, although the 2 for 1 promotion that attracted us is not valid on weekends. Anyway, I ordered a whole roasted chicken with to share with my girlfriend and we were very happy with it. It was huge and really nice. The bad part is that it took a while for us to get our food(45min) and one of us had to eat one thing that was not the first order because they only told us that they did not have what she ordered when they were bringing the food.

This pub in Birmingham was the most fun we had of the many chain pubs in the UK. It didn’t hurt that the Wales v England Rugby was blasting away. It was a lively crowd that was in full conspicuous consumption. One would expect a long wait for the food. Not so! So you like Fish & Chips? At £5.75 the portions were generous and fresh tasting. But that’s not all. For the Ultimate Fish & Chips try adding cheese and bacon(+80p) on the chips. The only downside — that is endemic with most UK pubs — is those infernal condiment packages. My suggestion is that you pick up your favorite chili sauce to spice everything up. The special moment was watching an elderly couple lovingly share a monster sundae in the fracas. I noted that there wasn’t a «happy hour» here. The sign outside says it all: «At The Windsor we don’t have a Happy Hour, we have Happy Days! It was the truth, prices here are cheapest around but the selection and quality are first rate. Huge menue and even a respectable Birmingham curry selection. The selection of local and regular brews was one of the largest we seen out of over 30 pubs. Most pints were around £3

Bad vibes. Footy on the TV and strange music mix. Overpriced for what it is too.

A cheap-and-cheery alternative to a Wetherspoons pub. I’ve walked past this place for years and never gave it a second thought, then for a change my friends and I decided to try it and were pleasantly surprised! Cosy atmosphere, relaxed. Cheap food and drinksCocktail pitchers were just over £6.bargain! Centrally located but thankfully tucked away from the crowds of Broad Street and the Arcadian, so you still can get served without waiting 20mins on a Friday night! Friendly and attentive bar staff. Recommended!
