Food is always rather nice and it’s always hot. There food looks fresh and is nicely priced.

This is my favo chip shop by now, they are a bit more expensive then a normal chip shop but their food has always been good, they are really friendly and the food is always fresh, trust me, it worth a try!

This gets a solid ‘it’s alright’ review. Nothing remarkable but nothing bad either. Weoley Fish bar has been around forever, I used to go here sometimes during dinnertime at school(and everything was black and white in those days), back then it was a decent chippy and I’m pleased to note that it still is. Prices are average, the chips are good, staff are all alright. If you asked me «should I go there?» I would answer«Do you live close? Do you want chips? If yes then… sure, why not.» It’s not the best but it’s certainly not bad either.

I think that this is a good little chippy. I love fish and chips and have been to quite a few fish and chip joints in Birmingham and so I am really getting a feel for the good places and the bad. I always order cod and chips and occasionally mushy peas and so that is what I ordered when I came in here. I noticed that the place was clean and tidy, which is a plus already for me as I believe food places must always have immaculate hygiene! The staff were fairly friendly and I did not have to wait long to place my order as it was not that busy. It did not take too long for them to get my food ready either. The prices were standard for a fish and chip bar. When I got round to eating I thought that the food was alright, not the best, but then again not the worst. A good chippy.

Weoley Castle’s Weoley Fish bar is of any fish and chips bar standards. Perhaps a little bit more because what they offer is actually quite tasty considering that this fish bar is located in Weoley Castle. Their menu is what you would expect to see and maybe more if your taste doesn’t just lye with traditional fish and chips. If you are feeling a tad peckish and are around the area then I would say pop in and take a little gander. But the last time I went to Weoley Fish Bar they didn’t get my order right and when I went to change it and add additional salt and vinegar they were overly generous with the salt and vinegar further making my meal too horrid to eat and overall disappointing. If you go to this fish and chips bar, be PRECISE with what you want.
