Panini Shack

This is a nice little sandwich shop next door to thorntons on the side. They do a good range of paninis, baguettes and pastys and pizza slices. They also do a small range of soft drinks and crisps and muffins and flapjacks to go with your main. They do meal deals so you could have a bageutte with crisps and pop or other deals for cheaper. The sandwiches are made fresh but there are a couple already waiting for you which have just been made but you can ask for a fresh one made up for you and they have a huge board full of different ones you can have. Their cornish pastys are huge and absolutely gorgeous. The prices arent too dear either. The staff — a young lad and his sister and an elder man — are absolutely lovely and very friendly. Based at the bottom of town this is in a good position. I love the sandwiches here and other goodies. They have a good choice of paninis/​pizzas/​pastys, etc and all are made instore and to your choice. They have some lovely cornish pastys and cheese and onion pastys that are made in the old traditional way and are lovely.
They are always nice and fresh and very morish. They also do a choice of soft/​hot drinks and cookies/​muffins which are lovely and fresh.
They offer a few meal deals but the prices are quite cheap anyway without the deals. Also about 30minutes before they shut they sell everything off for £1 which is good.
The place is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and polite. They are very hardworking and seem to always be busy.

I was really disappointed with this place. It looks nice and trendy but the panini I got was weedy and they skimped on the filling. I could have done with another couple at least to have filled me up. It didn’t have a friendly feel about the place at all. The staff seemed like they were just on a production line counting the minutes until they could go home.
