If you find yourself searching for somewhere to eat on a Friday night having heard your mate say, «I fancy an Indian» you could do a lot worse than Ganges Brasserie in Hove. Their massive selection of dishes means there’s something for everyone, so whether you’re a spice freak or a meak ‘n’ mild kind of person Ganges will cater for you (if you’re really boring you can even order chicken and chips but I wouldn’t recommend it.)
The highlight of the menu is the Ganges Specials section, which ranges in price from £9.95 to £13.95. From this I usually order the Chilli Chicken Massalla or the Lamb Passanda and as of yet I haven’t been disappointed. However, the menu can leave the inexperienced feeling a little indecisive, as the range of options can seem somewhat overwhelming. I’d recommend going there with an idea of the kind of dishes you like, that way you can always ask the friendly staff for comparisons.
The Sunday buffet is great for those of a hungry disposition as you can tuck in to as much as you like for just £7.95 but whether or not you go for this, Ganges is always sure to leave you with a lasting feeling of fullness. Top notch!

A good test is always the Tarka Dall and it was fine.
All in all it was a good experience. Nothing special but good food.
