Hmm. well I have to knock off points for location because as the name suggest, although you get a ‘harbour’ view, this is pretty much an industrial port you look out on, and the outdoor seating backs onto a main road. However, the staff in here are very upbeat about it all and the interior is comfortable and traditional which goes some way to making up for the drab surroundings. There’s a good selection of ales and good pub grub too.

Very friendly landlord but do expect flat beer. Also expect to leave with dirty fingernails and the odd flea bite. Not the cleanest place I have ever been to and the toilets leave a lot to be desired.
