New Dawn is a small local beautician’s that does massages, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and eyelash and eyebrow tinting. The premises are small and simply decorated with two treatment rooms. I was excited to see a beautician’s withing walking distance of my flat so went along for some waxing. I had the complete attention of the beautician but I have to say that I wasn’t very impressed with the wax– they left areas still covered in hair and didn’t treat my skin to prevent rashes or ingrowing hair. It was all very rushed and painful– no effort to soothe the pain. It is certainly convenient for locals and perhaps the other treatments are better but I won’t be returning for a wax!
