I like this hairdressers 90%. i had a hair cut about a month ago which was a daring new style complete with fringe! It was a shock but i now love it and have had loads of compliments about it. They are super friendly and whilst a little expensive you really do get VIP treatment. I popped in a few days ago for a fringe trim as my poor eyes were getting irritated it being so long, they saw me straight away and seeing the type of fringe cut i had(soft) the guy did what i can only call a bowl cut. My face said it all pure horror! He corrected his mistake but blamed me for not pointing out what type of cut it was… i’m not a trained hair dresser i have no idea! It was free which i didnt realise when i tried to pay but still, it made me feel quite uncomfortable and having been a sean hanna client it did put me off a bit from coming back.

This sparkling new Bristol branch of seanhanna has been open exactly two weeks today. I’m sure I could smell the paint still drying on the walls! I had my hair cut there today mainly because I was given a 30% off voucher, making their £40 lowest price option reasonable at £28. After a brief consultation I was given a ‘menu’ where I could choose from a large selection of hot and cold drinks, even a glass of wine, complimentary. The rest of the menu was to try and tempt me into extras like conditioning hair treatments. After politely declining I was taken to a reclining leather chair to have my hair washed, to my surprise and then delight, the chair had a massaging element to it which kind of rippled up and down my body! By the time I was taken back to my other seat my apply juice and biscuit had been placed on a black serving tray on one side of the table ledge, and nice smelling hair products that had been used on another tray to the left. Impressive. The cut itself is good, I wouldn’t have wanted to have paid £40, I was hoping I might feel a bit more, well, different, I suppose, but all round a good pampering experience.
