The Pigs

Visited for Mothers Day 2015. Lovely food and setting. We were seated in the snug as we had a small dog but preferred this as it was quieter. Would definitely re-​visit.

I have just stayed a wonderful night at one of The Pigs spa rooms which compromises a sauna, outside bath with television, fire pit, «drench» shower, personal outside space with lounge chairs, room speakers compatible with iPod/​iPad etc. Large television with freesat (hundreds of channels) I felt absolutely everything was catered for down to the selected type of pillows and duvet that I had requested weeks before. Service was absolutely perfect nothing was to much trouble and nothing was ever forgotten. Food was amazing being cooked to absolute perfection taste was wonderful and yet service was surprisingly speedy! Being called The Pigs the food is all based around pork but I did see vegetarian options on the menu. The only thing that I felt the room could have had was a chiller for bottles of drink but no doubt the staff would have brought an ice bucket or some such had I requested. and as a plus free no-​nonsense wifi in my room (nothing more annoying than logging in making accounts and such) The best hotel I’ve stayed at without a single complaint I would return again and again!
