Good pub this, part of the Byfords empire. 9 real ales on last week, all very drinkable. Free sausages on the bar on tuesday and friday at 5pm. Although they now do a steak night (rather dear) it is a pub essentially for a drink and a chat. Traditional pub games available. If you are unsure which ale to drink there is no problem having a taster. Toilets clean as well.

I really like this pub. Good selection of nice food. Pool table. Decently priced drinks. Pub garden. In the centre of the town. Seats could be a bit more comfortable in the bar though!
