Bridges café is a lovely little café at the back of Burnley town centre, next to The Bridge pub. There is an eat in area which looks pleasant enough although I have only ever used the take away shop which is separated from the seating area. Café Bridges sells a good range of lunchtime food including sandwiches, baked potatoes, pasties, salads etc. The food is always fresh and tasty and they do some lovely combinations of sandwich fillings. Although it’s popular and there are often queues, service tends to be quick and is always friendly. The prices are a little on the high side but it’s worth it for food that is of a higher quality and fresher than many prepacked sandwiches you may find elsewhere.
