A very friendly place to drop in for a relaxing bite to eat. I noticed it has just been recently decorated and has 2 new leather chairs to sit and watch the world go by at the window. I always made for the sofa at he back before but don’t know which I prefer now. I love it there and recomend it to my friends, the only thing you have to remember is that all the food is made to order so there can be a bit of a wait especially on a Saturday — but it is worth it for the generous portions and good quality of food you get there.

Café B is an extremely popular café, just out of the centre of Burton on Trent. At most times of the day, it is jammed full of people either queueing for takeaway coffees or drinking in the café. Café B is not a large place and at times it can be difficult to find a seat, which speaks volumes for it’s popularity! The menu is impressive in its range of hot and cold drinks, and snacks. The chilli is a particular favourite of mine, with just enough heat to give it plenty of flavour. The Hot Chocolates at Café B are amazing, but probably contain as many calories as your average lunch! If you can get a seat, try and get a place on the luxurious leather sofa, it is a good place to relax for an hour over lunch. Staff at Café B are friendly and helpful, but at most times they seem rushed off their feet. The only slight downsides to Café B is their tendency to sometimes make the cappuccinos too weak and milky, and also that because of its popularity it is sometimes very tricky to get a table, especially at the weekends.

Good little coffee shop in the centre of burton not so big that you lose the coffee shop feel. Not too expensive. Everybody friendly and the hot chocoalte is to die for! as are the cakes. Well worth a visit although there arent that many tables.

Absolutely gorgeous little coffee shop in town. I have only been here once but really really want to go again. There is a very large(and tempting!) selection of cakes on display and the drinks they make for you are absolutely divine.(I had a white hot chocolate, mmm). The furniture is all very lovely, in pine. It’s a very relaxing place to go after a hard day’s shopping :-) Be warned though, if you sit on the leather sofas you are very likely to fall asleep so make sure you take a friend in with you to keep you awake!

This coffee shop is just lovely, the food is all freshly prepared to order and the occasional wait is worth it, lots of filling in their baggettes/panninis etc and their coffee is fresh and mellow, not too strong. The staff are all helpful and kind and will pass the time of day with you. The décor is pine, with a lovely large leather settee to relax on and it is a very cosy atmosphere. I call in many times a week and the cakes are delicious! My kids enjoy it there and so does my mother, all age groups feel comfortable together, but i love it best on my own, reading and catching up with my thoughts — bliss!
