Oven Guerilla

I was excited when Oven Guerrilla opened and keen to give it a go. I loved the fact that they offered the option to order online, and their website is easy to navigate. There is a great selection of pizzas available and also a large range of sides, to rival what is on offer from the larger chain outlets.
We decided to go for the meat feast, dough balls, and garlic bread. I ordered online and the food arrived within the specified time, so great service from that end, however we were extremely disappointed with the food.
The garlic bread was basically a small pizza base with some garlic oil/​garlic butter melted into it, it was so hard, it would have given you lockjaw trying to eat it, so after one bite, that was binned. The dough-​balls were fine, if not a little hard/​tough, and the pizza itself was slightly burnt, and just didn’t taste that nice…
I have heard good reports from other people about Oven Guerrilla, so I wonder if I maybe just got them on a bad night, but I can only review based on my experience!

I’ve been to Italy several times and the pizza wasn’t as good as it was here. Seriously tasty and fresh, unlike the chain pizza places in Carrick. Loads of toppings too.

I am more than happy to support new local businesses and so when I heard about this new pizza place in Carrick I decided to try it out!
Well we ordered a large pizza with potato wedges off their website and it was at the door within 20 mins… and best of all it was delicious, very good quality wood oven baked pizza!
I highly recommend so try it out :)
