Great for a quick pint when waiting for you Chinese from the delicious house or Indian from Haques. Snug in the winter and cool in the summer. Lovely pint of Doom Bar, give it a try.

A pleaant afternoon in the pub with a fire in the main bar, a couple of dogs and a group of locals made for a very enjpoyable time.
The pub itself is a back to basics with none of the frills and pretence of themed establishments and that itself was refreshing. The staff were refreshing in that they were prepared to put up with our raucous behavior and offered plenty of banter back.
Beer was good. Enough said.
