The Rose is quite a traditional style pub, I would say the décor is in need of a little attention, a little shabby and old fashioned. There is a pool table and juke box, also a dart board. The toilets aren’t the best I’ve seen, I don’t think the cubicle doors fit properly, however they are usually clean and that is the main thing.
The staff are friendly enough and the people in the pub do seem to be mainly regulars. Every now and then they’ll have a karaōke. Drinks prices are slightly below average to average. This isn’t the kind of place you’d want to take a first date to if you wanted to impress, however if you just want a quiet drink in a friendly pub then this is the place for you!
