An excellant pub, very good beers, very friendly staff. Why it loses to the Beacon Hotel each year in the Camra competition really needs an explanation from the local Camra group. I think with the addition of a micro brewery that the pub has added value, not that I am always keen on the brews but thats just differant tastes. The pub also has regular cider and folk festivals.

Have to agree with previous posters — proper pub, as pubs used to be. Friendly staff and locals too. Good choice of ales. Lovely quaint bar (mind your head!) to the front. Look in the gents for leather patches to lean against whilst at the urinal! And just a short walk from the Britannia (Bathams) too. Both pubs on the main W/​ton — Dudley bus route, so easy to get to without a car.

no i like this pub very friend people in there very friendly staff its a nice drink and there no trouble people just keep there selfs to them selfs they dont bother you
