The Stump is a bit of a strange place its décor is a bit early eighties all mock tudor. Its best experienced on a winters night when the log burners in the back rooms are belting out the heat. There is a good range of beer if you can ignore the Banks’s Pull. The Bishops Farewell is usually a good bet though. Am upgrading my star rating as the beer quality is been very good for a long time now.

Not a bad pub, had a bad pint of Enville Ginger in there just before Christmas. Took it back and no questions asked. They have a good selection of real ales on. Walking in to the back rooms there are plenty of horse brasses on the walls ! People in there are freindly too. Only thing with this pub is the old fashioned hours they open /close

Nice warm, cozy, mock tudor fronted pub on main road close to Sedgley — also known locally as «the stump.» Has a bar at the front and a split level lounge at the back. Both rooms have coal stoves for heat. 4 – 5 ales always on tap with cob’s behind the bar. Well worth a visit.
