… a perfect village pub, with a great (and changing) selection of real ales and various single malts. Fun locals, great views and friendly advice. Did I mention the great food? Lunch only — (*call to rsvp).

I was in town with my partner visiting his family. The pub was what you would expect in terms of a village pub in terms of size. They had a pretty good selection of beer and spirits and an inventive menu. The view of the water was also great, as was the woman behind the bar (although I am sure she was trying to figure out who these non-​villagers were).
