I had a contact with this agency while looking for a new house when I relocated to Scotland. At the beginning I thought they were ok when they quickly managed to arrange me a viewing… I was COMPLETELY wrong ! I have pets which made it more difficult for me to find a house to stay. Finally, I found a flat(from Click let) which according to what the agent assured me ALLOWED my two dogs. So, I arranged a viewing, as it was one of the few properties which ACCEPTED dogs. After the viewing I thought it was ok and intended to rent the flat(which was actually a bit poor for the price but at least ACCEPTED dogs), so I went to Click Let to rent it. After arriving there I realised that the agent couldn’ t be more rude and non– professional as she only cared about bringing the credit card machine instead of talking and explaining all the conditions of the deal. Moreover when we were almost closing the deal she remembered of ACTUALLYASKINGTHELANDLORDIF I COULDBRINGMYTWODOGS!!! And the answer was: NO. Huge lack of professionalism as the agent managed to give me answers based on what(she) «thought the landlord would think». Really bad experience with this agency, I wouldn’t definitely recommend it(I gave it only a star because I couldn’t give less) !!! . Now, I’m glad I couldn´t have rented that flat because I managed to rent a better one in a serious and really professional agency!!!

Now that I’ve moved out, let the review flow! I used to think that my former letting agency was a bit crap. I mean, the people were nice but they weren’t the most on the ball with stuff. Oh how I had no idea what it was to be not on the ball with things. First of all, when we moved in the place had NOT been cleaned. There was food in the shelves and fridge, and it was not the kind of clean you would expect when moving into a new place. Then there was the state of it … closets had junk left in them, the carpet was(and still is) filthy, floorboards had nails sticking out of them, there were marks a bits and pieces everywhere. I actually went around and took pictures of everything I could find which they might try to later blame on us, and sent it to our contact. She never responded. I finally contacted the manager who said that the information had been passed to him and that they would send someone to remove the junk left in the closets and look into replacing the manky carpet. A year later that carpet hadn’t been replaced. When you move in, they force you to buy contents insurance. They say that you can buy it from any company but then offer you their own. It’s such a hassle to go with a different company you end up forking over even more money to them for no reason. We had flat inspections where we would ask questions and never hear back — it was pretty commonplace to try to get in touch and never hear back, actually. Finally, as I said, I’ve moved out and they know I’ve moved out. However, they keep giving my contact number to every person who works for them and needs to get into the flat. Not too bright, are we? Admittedly, they aren’t exactly rude when you contact them but they just seem to be scattered and poorly run, and forget that they exist to do more than take a portion of your rent before passing it on to the landlord. I’m just glad that I don’t have to rent anmore.

I am writing this slowly as i am so mad about the way i have just been spoken to by a member of the staff at click let. when trying to return an item to a flat i had rented was told that the person i needed would not phone me when they were available to return the item as they had a life and it was up to me to go round when they were available and if they were not there then i would need to call back!!! The person who i needed to return the item to actually lives in the flats!!! I hope that click lets record their telephone calls as a matter of training as the customer service I received was appalling. They were quick enough to assure me of a first class service when veiwing the property. does this only count until you’ve signed the lease?

I had a contact with this agency while looking for my new flat. The falt they offered was poor quality and very high price for what it was. The price they charge for checking references and all the paperwork was high as well. The agent from the Click Let wasn’t really interested in showing me the flat, like he wouldn’t care. I can’t rate the Click Let as retal agency, but from the viewing impression I would rather not to rent a place from them.
