After searching high and low for someone to free my iPhone from the greedy clutches of AT&T (and many false starts) I came across Simply Fix IT. I walked in off the street, not expecting much since I’ve already been let down so many times, and experienced the greatest customer service and amazing results.
The techs here were super friendly and helpful. They knew what was needed and they knew what to do to make it work. They waited while I went to pick up a SIM card and did the unlock and set-​up for me — in minutes. As a bonus, the Gevey SIM needed to unlock the phone was half price — a lovely £15 (as opposed to the £40 that Phonebox charges). As far as I’m concerned, this is the only place in Edinburgh to come to for all your unlocking needs.

I found the folks in this branch on Forrest Rd. very helpful.
The place is particularly usefull for picking up DVD media, their dual layer DVD (i.e. 8.5Gb capacity) were priced competitively with amazon when I looked — very impressive.
Weel worth lookin for your computing needs and presumably they know what they’re talking about in terms of fixing things too.
