Great river view room along with comfortable sized room and amenities. Very quiet which I loved. Great bar gathering area for drinks with colleagues. Love the walking path along the Thames and watching the boats and lockes.

I’ve been to this hotel many times for meeting, but I only managed to stay here when attending a wedding.
The hotel has a beautiful setting on the banks of the Thames. It is just outside Egham in Surrey. It is just minutes away from Windsor and is very close to Heathrow Airport. It has plenty of grounds an although it’s set off a busy roundabout. The hotel grounds at the rear are really scenic.
The reception area was really busy when I arrived, and the hotel seems to be hosting several functions. I think it is mainly a business and conference hotel during the week, with special packages for weddings and partys at the weekend.
I had a really nice room overlooking the front of the hotel. As I was only here for one night and most of the time at the wedding. I didn’t feel the need to pay a supplement for a river view room. It came with all the usual facilities you would now expect at a UK hotel (tea, coffee making, iron and ironing board). There were also robes and slippers left in the wardrobe for guests use.
The public areas were busy but there were plenty of option and spaces to use. The outside bar area and seating was plentiful. I really enjoyed sitting out here with a pot of tea after my breakfast the morning after the wedding. The hotel also has a spa that I was not able to use (free to guests), which I will try next time
The breakfast at this hotel is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. It offered all the usual options, but just tasted so good.
I’ve given the hotel 4 stars as the wait to be seen to check-​out was really long and slow, with not many staff at the reception desk. I will come back though, and am already planning a family reunion here for 2016.

Avoid this hotel if at all possible — between mold on the sheets, a bug infestation in the room, the finicky shower that alternates between scalding hot and lukewarm without being touched, and worthless AC: stay far far away. Beyond overrated.

Stayed here on the night of our wedding. Excellent service (checking us in at 1am in full wedding celebration mode with good grace and congratulations). The room was lovely, nice views over the river and breakfast in bed delivered at the right time and was wonderful.
Gluten and dairy free catered for in the restaurant and a lovely touch in a complimentary plate delivered with coffee of fruit and dark chocolate truffles with ‘congratulations’ spelt out in chocolate (it was sweet and romantic). Spa was fine, pool lovely and empty and the grounds simple but leading to a lovely walk down the river (left if you are facing the river) past some fantastic riverside houses.
All in all, considering going back for our one year…

My favourite hotel I’ve spent three anniversary’s here and it is a wonderful hotel, great prices, cheerful staff willing and wanting to go the extra mile for you and a beautiful location on the river.
I’d love to go here in the summer as my anniversary is in late October. Thorpe Park a 5 minute taxi ride so great location for that too.
When visiting in October you must try their pumpkin soup! Delicious.

Für eine Geschäftsreise perfekt, dicht zum Flugplatz und gute Zimmer. Terrasse draußen läßt sich gut nutzen, toller Blick und gute Atmosphäre direkt am Wasser. Nur leider keine Raucherzimmer. Sonst alles gut, Essen, Service etc.

Very nice hotel in Staines. Location is great, a lot of green and a lot of art everywhere. Rooms are spacious and the restaurant is great. Food was great and the staff excellent as well. My first choice if I need a hotel in Staines!

We came here for lunch on Saturday. Mother in law and Father in law were staying the night and we left the cat in their room. The lunch takes a buffet format but is not like a typical restaurant buffet in that it has a much wider range of choices with more interesting dishes. To start, I had some seafood salad with some smoked salmon, and then smoked duck salad with paprika and fennel with beetroot humus. For main course, I had some pork belly with apple sauce with sprouts and sweet potato with leeks, then venison stew. The food was nice but not amazing, unfortunately the dishes that sounded the most interesting were the ones I enjoyed the least (seafood salad and venison stew). Still nice though and good effort for trying

An extremely pleasant hotel which I have used many times for conferences and meetings which is conveniently located near the motorway. You can book a Thames boat from here too-​with dinner. There is also a fabulous spa. The conference facilities are excellent and the hotel is clean and efficient. I have also been a wedding guest here and found the hotel was experienced in the smooth running of these type of events. Highly recommended. However watch out because the restaurants all shut early at 10pm and you can end up just eating a sandwich at the bar.

From the States, 25+ years international, 6+ years in the UK. I love this place. On the Thames river — and yes sometimes it floods. New renovation makes it even better while retaining excellent service and charm. Not like the sterile Heathrow airports. Proper afternoon tea and comfortable lobby area.

As a visitor to UK, I have been in plenty of hotels. This was one of the more modern oneI have been at in a while.
Location — On the thames. view of the river. what more can you ask for. 5 miles from LHR, 1 minute off the motorway, 10 minutes from Windor and 5 minutes from Ehgam or Staines. What more could you ask for?
Parking — Plenty and free.
Ambiance — Very modern. Huge lobby with plenty of area to meet. Must be able to hold 100 people at the many tables and lounges in the meeting area. This is a fantastic designed meeting area and a real genius whoever created it.
Rooms — We were here for 4 nights, but with only one small suitcase and computer bag. Found closet to be a bit small for 4 nights worth of clothes, really no place to put your winter coat, very small desk for your computer and papers. But workable for sure. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is a bit small, but very modern and clean. Plenty of lights. No alarm clock, so bring your own. Odd to have an old TV in the room. Used to only flat screens and to see an old TV in such a modern place was odd.
Food — Outstanding service and food at breakfast and for the large lobby meeting area, plenty of food choice and staff. A fantastic place to meet and nibble as they say here. good nibbly bits.
Noise level — This is a business class hotel, but the hallways are narrow and the dorrs shut with a bang. All this means a very noisy place if you are trying to sleep or rest. You will hear the people up and getting out of their rooms in the early mornings. You will hear all the cleaning people in the halls and in the rooms near you. Be prepared, but hey, chill out. The rooms are nice and comfy and just deal with it.
I like this place. It is a bit expensive, but it is a great place.
