Another one for my list of Surrey hotels!
This is probably the best of the lot of them — very comfortable rooms and really nice grounds. Sadly I didn’t get to use the Spa but other guests told me it was worth a visit.
The bar is comfortable and the views of the river are spectacular (my kingdom for a fly-​rod!)
Wi-​Fi was fairly horrible which is a huge minus in my book but the only negative I could see.
Breakfast was tremendous.

I’ve stayed here many times and last night I came back for dinner with a friend. They have done a lot to make the hotel more modern and appealing. I was quite impressed. The food was always really good and it didn’t disappoint last night either. What’s really nice is that you can walk outside by the river and feel like you are not just stuck at Heathrow.
