Good choice of meats and good variety of veg. Roast potatoes were a tad hard though, as though they had been there for a long while. The only other problem was that the cabbage had pepper added to it. As someone that doesn’t like pepper, it spoilt the meal. If I want pepper, I’ll add it at the end.
Apart from the above, was a good meal and the service was quick and nice interior. If you feeling a bit chilly, sit near to the carvery station, as it’s warmer there!

My family love this place for food and I agree. Good range on the menu, the staff are always friendly, and the prices are really good. This is now a 2 for 1 pub so it can be a really cheap meal for the family. Drinks wise there is also a good selection. The décor is nice, lots of quiet places to sit and there is a relaxed atmosphere. The best thing about the place is the large outdoor area with benches, as these can be few and far between at some pubs and it’s always nice to have a drink outside in the summer. Loads of parking and easy to find.

Situated right near Cheshire Oaks, opposite Sainsbury’s, this pub can provide an excellent end to a shopping day. The typical pub atmosphere downstairs is combined with a slightly more upmarket restaurant upstairs to great effect.
The food is excellent, with the Steak & Ale pie being particularly good, and the service is also very good. There is plent of parking and it is well worth stopping in before making that journey home.

A fantastic upmarket restaurant next to the Cheshire oaks complex i am a regular customer and have never been disappointed. Downstairs is an informal bar with bar food and the night life you would expect in a small country pub while upstairs is an upmarket (if a little pricer) restaurant serving good old style food which is very filling and even more enjoyable. A supreme choice to make for dinner OR lunch after a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks.
