Food is yummy I enjoy my mexdog and cheese burger, All is serve with fries and dips. It is chain restaurant that’s for me is good standard of customer service and food quality. Great service. Greeted on arrival and show to our seats. We got given the new menu. The offers were 2 course for £10.99. I chose A fire roasted vegetables mini wraps to start then the new bruce lee burger. The waitress did warn me it was spicy but I chose it any way. When it came it was full of jalapeños and red chillies. I thought omg so i chose to take all the red chillies off. It was really tasty. And would recommend it

We visited TGI Fridays Chesire Oaks, Chester, and had the most poor-​value meal of our lives. Every plate went back with over half the food not eaten but with no question raised by the staff. The bill was over £75. Most of the food tasted like grease coated in breadcrumbs. We will never visit this chain again. With young children, we are used to visiting family restaurants but have never even thought of complaining before about any meal. Looking at the other (generally favourable) reviews for this restaurant on this site, we must have caught them on a bad day. It was fairly busy and the staff were cheerful and helpful but the main reason we went in was for a good meal, which we didn’t get. It was a little disappointing that the waitress took away the, in some cases, nearly untouched food without any query but it was fairly busy. For hours afterwards, I had a bad unpleasant greasy taste in my mouth from the food, which has never occurred before anywhere.

Apart from the first visit to this location all other visits have been very dissatisfying.
I love their oreo milkshakes but apart from that nothing else is nice. The veggie burger isn’t the nicest and nothing else on the menu appeals to me (especially after trying the vegetable fajitas in the trafford centre location — see that review). My boyfriend likes the chicken wings but nothing else on the menu has been ever been tasty for him.
Service isn’t the best either. We’ve had a few visits when we were well looked after but the bad far out numbers the good.
If you’re a big fan of TGI’s you’ll probably enjoy this location but I just don’t see the appeal. There is a lot more choice of other restaurants through out cheshire oaks worth checking out first.

I have visited the tgi in Glasgow many times which is in a beautiful old building with excellent staff and a fantastic atmosphere. How shocked and disappointed I was when I visited the tgi in Cheshire oaks. The food was appauling and my daughter found a hair in her main course which they still tried to charge us for. The staff were very rude and slow and the building a soulless cube. Basically the complete opposite of Glasgow! Will not be going back.

The definate good points Are we visited on a thursday they were doing a 2 for £9.99 deal or 3 for £12.99 so we got either 2 courses for £9.99 or all 3 courses for £12.99 you could also upgrade for a futher £3.49 for other items on the menuwe saved a lot of money. We also had a very good waitress who pandered to all of our needs. The portions were large and food was fresh. The party made a lot of mess as there was over 25 of us and we didnt have to clean up. Good for kids parties or to start a night out with the girls. Also if you join the birthday club online you get either free champagne, free desserts or free cocktails on your next visit. The bad points were that Some of the meals were not up tosscratch and there was an incident with a member of staff but after speaking to the manager who apologised we were given vouchers to come back and dine for free
Also We decided to have my friends 5^th birthday at TGI Fridays in ellsemere port. We booked a table a month ahead and they confirmed our booking within 24hours. We arrived on a quiet thursday afternoon and were seated very quickly. The starters took a while to come and although we arrived at 3pm we didnt eat our mains until about 5:30pm .The starters were pretty good i enjoyed the bruchetta and some others enjoyed the shrimp. The mains were also quite tasty and the portions were big most people couldnt finish theirs. The dessert fudge fixation was ok but it was a little bit sickly and out of 16 adults there wasnt one clean plate. The childrens menus were good and with such a big selection you will find sometrhing even for the fussiest of eaters. But the thing that TGI Fridays does best is the cocktails i recommend the ultimate long island ice tea or barnamint baileys.

Went here for a work Christmas do and was left utterly underwhelmed. The food barely passed as ok. I could see the kitchen (if you can indeed call it that) from where I sat — literally a wall of microwaves. I was not satisfied in the least with my main and the dessert was the biggest pile of stodge I have ever encountered. I will not be visiting again.

As far as this chain of restaurants go, they’re ok. I’ve eaten at this particular one a couple of times and with each meal, I’ve never really been overly impressed. You always come away with an unquenchable thirst due to the amount of salt you feel like you’ve just consumed. The seasoned fries are the worst culprit for this. Drinks are expensive, particuarly the soft drinks. They have a good choice of cocktails but be prepared to pay. Staff try their best to be happy but the service is slow. This restaurant seems popular with families so you see a lot of birthday parties going on. I don’t think I’ll be going back in a hurry.
