Dropped in this morning for a coffee after knocking my aero press over then kitchen floor. I was so impressed I came back for lunch. Super friendly staff with excellent classic glesga patter while you wait for take out. Excellent selection of cakes and snacks. Freshly made sandwiches and wraps in the fridges for quick lunches. I decided to sit in and have some lunch. Waitress was very efficient but still really friendly. Food didn’t take long and was really tasty. Definitely a good place to pop in for a quick bite.

I’ve always seemed to pass this wee place, or never been around to go in. Today l called in for a coffee and a cake with good value for under £5, they seem to do all sorts here from sandwiches, baked potatoes, salads and wraps plus freshly made soups. Nice staff and super fast service.

I popped in here for lunch with the small child the other day on our way to dropping her off at toddler jail… sorry, I mean parent relief centre(wait that sounds wrong), I mean nursery. Having spotted it a few times as we’ve trotted down this end of town, the timing and location was just right for my rumbling belly, so in we popped. Now i can’y quite remember what this spot was before it changed to these guys, but whatever it replaced, it was certainly not a swish, new, clean and bright as this joint is. With a healthy flow of office workers grabbing something quick on their lunch hour in addition to a deceptively large seating area up the back, this place really has grabbed a location and made it their own. I had the hunger on so a mexican flatbread type shenanigans was ordered. Filling, tasty, good bit of spice. Pleased was my face. Washing this down with a cheeky americano and a baby-cinno for the small one(don’t mock me!) left me with a bill of just over 5 notes. Not bad for table service, good grub and a welcoming location. Plus points for these guys lie in the attractiveness for folks with kids. Yer regular Glasgow lunch spot can at times feel like a challenge with a pram or a toddler. Here though, ample space and changing facilities(even a spot to put the pram out by the toilets) make the entire process just that little bit easier.

Popped in here for a quick lunch today. A great find. Ideal little lunch haunt if your in that neck of the woods. Staff were lovely! Big selection of sandwiches, baked potatoes, salads and wraps. I had the hot Fajita wrap, hot only in temperature right enough and not in the least spicy but still very tasty. It was only £3.95 and the most expensive thing on the menu. When you think of the prices you would pay for in most of the bars in Charing Cross area … Bargain! Ok, you’ll not enjoy a wee lunchtime tipple but if your anything near the lightweight I am chances are after a cheeky little lunchtime apéritif I’ll be nodding off at my desk come 3pm :-/ Being that my office is just across the road I think I’m gonna be a regular here.
