I like this little place. I used to walk past it all the time, and kept saying ‘I should visit this place.’ I took the plunge a week or 2 ago. Since then I have popped in every 2nd or 3rd day. Nothing special but a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. That is also not a chippy or another fast food fatty option. Price wise it is not breaking the bank but I still find all these fancy panini’s, toasties and soups to be a little over priced. Then this just seems to be normal everywhere. Just over £3 will get you a panini and can of juice. Light and fills the gap until diner time. I go for Sweet chili chicken, Chicken Piri piri or the Spicy chorizo panini option. Very nice. Staff are very friendly and willing to adapt to your taste buds. They also have a sit in area. With soups, toasties and salads on the menu. A little selection of cakes as well. It is handy for my work and I like the place. I would not say it was special, but I will go back.

I was looking so forward to having lunch here but was a little disappointed for some reason, l expected a little more from this small café l had a quick look at the menu and ordered a panini with a cappuccino the hot drink came first l didn’t think it was hot enough but l still drank it tasted weak. For the panini l had the sweet chilli chicken this was with mozzarella, tomato, and peppers and was served with a side salad. It felt nothing special that would make me want to come back. Nice decoration in the café area with pictures of rome on the walls. The young girl serving and cooking was polite and did not stop in all the time l was there.

Ok, so I think this place has changed hands and perhaps had a wee bit of a layout change. For me it feels just that little bit less quirky and a bit more café like… which I’m not sure I like all that much. I popped into today to snag some free wifi and a wee shot o’ espresso to jolt the mind into action. It’s fair to say that i’ve not really had the chance to check it out, but i’d still say it’s a nice wee joint to hop into to escape the rain. A further visit is required though!

I’m not sure how much I can say about this place that hasn’t already been covered. I know they now do accept cards. I drop in here regularly for a lunchtime wrap or sandwich and the staff are really friendly. There is always a bit of chat and fun to be had. Depending on what you order you may have to wait a few minutes but I can assure you it is worth the wait. Black pudding, chilli and bacon wraps are a personal favourite and the haggis and chutneep(turnip chutney) wraps are a real treat. For a faster experience the soup and roll for £2.45 is well worth it. There are usually 2 home-made soups on offer(get the thai green lentil if they have it). If you can think of anything that would be a nice addition to the menu, the staff are always eager for feedback. To sum up, I’ve never been disappointed with this place and would strongly recommend it.

Ifull can be found on Sauchiehall st, round about charing Cross. It is very morning orientated, so much of its appeal revolves around breakfast, brunch, lunch and tea, which along with the décor and colour choice give the little café a lovely light airy feel which is nice for a light snack. This was not all, since going in my aim had changed from pick up a quick snack and drink, to the point where I found myself sitting comfortably munching away while flicking through the complimentary newspapers and mags on the tables. Joy, there was also a selection of books for loan as far as I could tell, some looked quite interesting too, I would love to read a good book. A place like ifull is well needed in a busy metropolitan city, where people have forgotten how to sit and chill for a few minutes with a good book, then if they like it, ifull will let you take it home. Quite clever really because when you bring it back, maybe you will buy something else, or sit down with another.

From the neutral, calming cream colour of the exterior to the laid back attitude of the people lazing around inside, IFull is a great place to duck out of the rain sodden, hectic activity of the city centre and gather your thoughts for a wee while. As Chris said, it is a bit of an odd shape, but then again most coffee shops founded in the ground floor of tenement type flats are, and it makes them somewhat unique. There’s a fair enough amount of space at the back — deceptively so since it looks tiny from the front door — and a massive fridge as you walk in so you can grab some prepared food if you’re in a rush. For its style and location it’s remarkably cheap. For a fiver I managed to bag a sandwich, Mackie’s swanky handcut crisps, a decent portion of salty cashews(NOM!) and a wee hidden surprise — a Hershey’s Milkshake carton! Now me and Hershey’s don’t really get on — eating their acrylic coated chocolate is much like the sensation one would get when licking the interior of a plastics factory — but for those who do like Hershey’s, there’s some to be found in here. And you know, the milkshake was actually very nice, and cheap considering it’s imported from the land of the free. I blustered in all drizzly and washed out from the rain in need of a snack, and although they were about to close the girl was very accomodating. It’s a nice wee cove of a café that’s as bright as the cheerful staff, and great if you’re looking to go somewhere low maintenance with classy aspects. Word of warning: they don’t accept cards, but hooray, there is a machine practically attached to this place from the neighbouring post office. I’ve just polished off my meal from here which I very much enjoyed. The library staff, on the other hand, will probably not enjoy the crumb explosion as I leave a trail of devastation in my wake. Best clear up!
