Fantastic pub with great staff, great prices and great music. Need I say more? Get yourself down here for a great bit of friendly banter and don’t worry about the sectarian problem mentioned in a previous review. I was wearing my Rangers football top with matching scarf and socks on the day I was in there after an old firm game and had no problems — good natured banter and traditional Irish music were the order of the day. This is a ‘rough diamond’ of a place but the clientele have hearts of gold. I can hardly wait until my next visit.

If you are either Celtic or St. Pauli Fan this is a must visit. We’ve been there with 3 guys from St. Pauli had a lot of fun. The first night we have been there was a Friday and it was pretty quiet still the atmosphere was really nice. Met a lot of nice people there. Unfortunately they already closed at midnight. The second night was on a Saturday after the Celtic match. The place was really crowed and it was even more fun than the night before. Later that evening they had live music. All staff and guests were really nice and you are more than welcome to stop by if you are a St. Pauli fan. The prices are pretty cheap. I will stop by there every time I go to Glasgow again.

I came here with a friend to watch a St Pauli match on TV, as he noticed it was being shown live on a discussion forum. Having researched the pub before going(The Times calls it the«Hardest pub in Glasgow») we were not sure quite what to expect… Wearing a St Pauli shirt and holding a pint of well kept and very well priced(£1.95) Guinness helped defuse any situation that could have arisen, but we didn’t come across any agressive behaviour in the bar at all. The staff are dedicated and friendly and the whole pub is plastered floor to ceiling in Celtic photos, shirts, scarves etc. Do not come into this pub in a Rangers shirt, or any other football team’s merchandise just to be safe. Do not talk about Rangers at all, just to be safe. They have a pool table, although it’s best to let the locals play.
