A relatively small shop sandwiched between takeaways and newsagents, this is quaint. The staff are exactly what you’d expect in a charity shop(slightly odd but very friendly) and very chatty. It’s got the strangest mix I’ve ever witnessed in a charity shop — buggies, clothes horses, bic-a-bracks and the odd sink thrown in(literally). For this reason, I have a pretty big soft spot for this charity shop having lived just around the corner from it for a couple of years. I’ve bought a few teapots in here(mostly to then be used as plant pots — but still). As well as a rather horrible country lady ornament for last mother’s day. I know it was a bad thing to do and not really in line with the mother’s day sentiment but it was worth her initial response… Get trotting along.
