If you are of the green and white hoops persuasion in regards to fitba (football, soccer for all those outwith Glasgow who may be reading) then this is definitely the place for you if your up this end of town. I make no bones about my affiliation with Celtic, mostly because it’s very unlikely i’m gonna kick my ass kicked online, and love nothing more than going to a bias pub to watch a game. Where else can you scream at the referee for going a foul even when your player blatantly elbow dropped his opposing number before pinning him for a three count and making off with his boots?
Anyway, this place can get quite busy on big game days/​nights so if you are going to venture in, then i would make sure you turn up pretty early to get in. Cheap beer, bias crowd, much shouting and gesticulating… love it… just don’t turn up in your union jack t shirt whistling ’ God Save the Queen’!

Grabbed an afternoon pint in here and learned why people appreciate soccer, –er, I mean football. I watched a match with a couple of old guys. I was served by a very nice lady. A solid pub.
