While walking along this street, I noticed this little place. After a long days work I had 2 things on my mind. Irn Bru and a can of Monster. The Monster was £1 but the Irn Bru I think was £1.25 I think. I think in general, Tesco need to sell things cheaper. The store looks great, being a small place. It probably makes a fortune with tourists walking into town from the hotels. Would be 5 stars. Just think Tesco on a whole need to be cheaper.

If buying ice cream from this store beware that it may have been defrosted and then refrozen always check the bottom of the container to see if it has split.

Standard Tesco express with a constant, terrible smell which is either some sort of cheese explosion or manure.

Very handy if you happen to stay at one of the hotels around and do not want to eat out or use the hotel restaurant. Open 7 days per week until night, so just hop in, grab some food and drink and return to your room.

When I used to work in town I would always pop into this branch of Tesco to get my lunch to avoid spending all my wages on food elsewhere. They have delicious salad boxes for £1.99 and with a bottle of water and a chocolate treat it usually came to just under £2.99, an absolute bargain! This branch is always bustling so not always great if you’re in a hurry as the queue is generally rather long but it does move very fast due to the efficient staff! I popped in here last year in a panic I was looking for chocolate, a lot of chocolate and preferrably rather cheap too. My mum bought me a chocolate fountain a few years ago and although a rather unnecessary item to have I though I’d get use of it at my 21st birthday party. I was in luck and they had he huge squares of Cadburys chocolate buy one get one free. Perfect! As it is a Tesco Express it does’t have everything but I’m always surprised to see that they can cram in so much stuff in this small shop that I sometimes forget it isn’t a mega sized store.

I like this Tesco it is smaller as it is in the centre of Glasgow so does not stock clothes etc. It has two entrances one off Argyle Street and one just up and round the corner. If you enter off of Arygle Street you will find a kiosk handy for picking up a bar of chocolate etc. The store itself has all the daily essentials a good selection of bread, cereal, juice, fruit etc. There are aslo some fridges where you can pick up the odd ready meal as well. It is very popular and I tend to use it to pick up bits and pieces. Remember your clubcard as the small points that you earn on basics will soon add up.
