Went in for lunch, took a while for the chef to prepare however was very moorish Guy working the bar/tables was very friendly and chatted away Décor is unique and fun, was a little cold inside however I don’t think they had opened long that day before we went in If in the area I will definitely go back

Lovely Sunday brunch. Really gigantic portions with good quality to match. Very accommodating to my dining request– there wasn’t a vegetarian larger style breakfast and I asked for a surprise vegetarian option which did not disappoint. excellent wee mug of tea and friendly staff– they also offered and brought a bowl of water for our canine companion! Will definitely be back. Really cute tiki theme and the rest of the menu looked really tempting too.

Have been here a couple of times now; was lured in the first time by an excellent 5pm deal and it was so good I went back pretty quickly afterwards! The food is excellent value and has some standard Thai dishes(red/green curries, pad Thai etc) as well as a range of burgers and also some excellent looking tacos(the adjoining table ordered the fish ones which looked amazing.) My veggie burger was delicious and excellent value(around £7.50 I think.) It’s a pretty small venue and you can go in for just drinks, so it got pretty crowded; I would recommend booking. The main attraction for me was the cocktail menu. Not surprisingly, they mostly have a tiki theme. Our piña coladas came in fab, kitsch style pineapple mugs. They were about the best piña coladas I have tasted and very pretty pungent! £7 each so not dirt cheap but well worth it!

So turns out this little gem on Dumbarton Road is actually the baby sister of The Tiki Bar in town. I did wonder when the cocktail menu with amazing tiki glasses was the exact same as the place. It’s been open about a year and I love it, mainly because it’s dangerously close to where I live. I love the bar and the vibe throughout the place, from the blowfish lightbulbs to the tiki themed everything. The food was incredible, the platter for starters was great, but not quite value for menu.(Although I always find that with mixed thai starters). The spring rolls were huge! My red curry, didn’t look particularly red, but it definitely tasted like it! The serving staff were really helpful in letting me ordered it spicier than normal, although being me, it could have been spicier. My brother did find his thai green curry to be slightly too spicy! The drinks, as ever, were fab. I love a Scarlett Sunset. My only down-side, hence the 4* is the Unilocal check in deal isn’t available here :( They do delivery though! So I know where my Thai takeout will be coming from when it gets cold soon.

Nice food, chill atmosphere, great service and yummy cocktails I found it a teensy wee bit pricey for the portion size, but it’s a nice place that I’ll come back too :)

I’ve only been in for brunch so far, but it was a mighty good brunch. There’s a deal for a full breakfast/brunch and a non-alcoholic drink for £5.95 on 5pm, if you’re thinking of popping in for a wee hangover cure. You can book on the day too. The décor is pretty similar to Tiki Bar in town, same owners, but Pacific is much smaller. I like this though, makes it cosy and personal. The only one thing that gets to me about this place is that they constantly show football. Doesn’t really tie in with the theme and kind of ruins it for me. I’m not a football-phobe, but just feel they should be sticking with the theme. Tiki-themed films and clips on the screens would be cool, pretty sure they used to do this at Tiki Bar. Leave the sports for the sports bar. Looking forward to popping in here for some more food and drinks. 241 burgers on a Tuesday. Woohoo!

Seriously. What an absolute treasure of a find. Genuine warm welcome when we walked in the door. Eye contact from smiling staff who wanted to be at work, prompt service, and the kind of menu that you take ages to order from because you want to try everything on it. I had the salt and pepper squid to start, followed by phad Thai(is that how you spell it?) noodle dish with just the divine amount of flavour. The atmosphere was fun without being overly loud. A really great neighbourhood find that is not anywhere near where I live but would willingly travel to again. Music was spot on, reggae cover versions, what a hoot. Applause applause applause.
