Great working farm, not on the main road, so just follow the directions. Good lunch menu, the shop offers lots of extra items to purchase, and of course you can pick many varieties of their daily crop. Worth the drive.

Farm shop, butchery, pick your own, and licensed restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. All portions are generous with the option to choose between large and small. Being a working farm a lot of the meat and vegetables are their own and there is also a wide variety of home-made desserts. The staff are friendly and efficient and the functional décor always seems nice and clean if a little characterless.

Huge portion of Sunday dinner :) followed by the biggest piece of cake I’ve ever had in my life! Massive selection of puddings to choose from, although main courses on a Sunday lunchtime are limited to 4 roasts or a vegetarian option. Amazing good value for money, service was polite and with smiles. The restaurant section we dined in was like a large shaded conservatory area but well ventilated and lovely on a sunny day. Really enjoyed it.

As always the food is good, but the service was very poor, the staff are badly in need of «customer service» training… a dining experience is more than good food… a customer wants to feel welcome and tended to in a professional manner. The ladies toilet was not clean, soiled tissues on the floor indicated cleanliness is not a priority. My view is that Trevaskis Farm restaurant«farms» customers in at an exceedingly high rate… more like a «chain» eating facility, if they wish to go down this route then training and other areas of concern need to be addressed, good job I was not a «mystery shopper» or even worse from the Food Standards Board.

not reallly good for romantic meals However the food is excellent the staff really friendly and the desert WOOOOOHHHH there is ni word for it, They look so amazing that you feel like starting your dinner with a desert and finish with the main course. unfortunately we never had the chance to try them as the main course portion is wayyyyyyy to big . wich is a shame as the restaurant could make more money by reducing the portion(waste less food) and everyone will be buying a desert instead of leaving after the main course . i recommend this restaurant to everyone

There is no doubt that the food in the restaurant is lovely, but i do feel that it is slightly overpriced. The portions are of a good size, but sometimes too much. The desserts look amazing, but you have so much for mains there is no way you can possibly fit anything else in. The farm shop has a huge range of products and gifts of which are good quality. It is a novelty to actually pick your own fruit and veg depending on the season.

Now a thriving market shop with fresh produce, much of which is grown on site, and the fresh fish and meat counters. The restaurant is always busy so booking is essential as the meals are so popular. The best bit about Trevaskis? It has to be the desserts as they are to die for!

Set back from the town of Hayle, Trevaskis Farm is situated along a country road often approached from the village of Carahell Green. Adjacent to a newly expanded farm shop, the restaurant is in a large wooden cabin styled restaurant. The round tables are spread out in a largehigh ceilinged room. The most impressive sight, when one enters, is that of the desserts cabinet; masses of large sweets, such as trifles, gateaux, tortes and fresh fruits. Be warned, the portions here are, in my opinion, very generous. There are ranges of starters, main courses and desserts;(though the website is out of date in respect of portion size — it’s not divided into children and adults menus anymore). The food is made from fresh produce, an advantage of having a farm onsite. Portions come in large, normal and children’s sizes. Large dishes are Huge. I am over 6 feet in height, with a healthy appetite and I find it difficult to manage the large portion and a dessert. The large main course portions cost somewhere between £9 and £12. I have always found the food delicious and fresh.
