The WH has been taken over and renovated since we last ate there. The décor is cleaner and crisper but the WH is now really a restaurant not a pub. The food was really good, hearty, high quality stuff. No complaints with the food at all. I do wonder if the move has stripped the WHB of some character. This is restaurant first and foremost and it misses the atmosphere when a pub that served food in the bar existed. That being said, a good hearty menu, well served meant that a trip to the WH is a great to enjoy good local produce while in Blakeney. Good value.

Nice place, cool country cottage/woody/beach décor, reasonably friendly atmosphere and welcome, bar snack menu quite good varied from soup to half pint of fresh prawns, good ale and drinks selection.
You can stay as well, good location in heart of Blakeney, with car park and just a stones throw from the Quay (be careful though, the North Norfolk District Council doesn’t like that kind of behaviour).
Recommended.

One of the best veggie meals i’ve ever had. Last minute, height of summer and a table within 10 mins.
The staff were very cool and helpfull and the food was fantastic. The manager even lent us a torch so we could find our way back up the road to our campsite.
If there was a 10 star option this place would get it
