Pretty much similar to every other Subway store I’ve visited.
The staff appear to be locals and occasionally have a wee chat with other locals (if things aren’t too busy).
Unfortunately, on this particular visit, the choice of sub rolls was limited to only 2 or 3. I would guess that they had a particular busy day as my previous visits were fine.
Store is clean, staff courteous and efficient even during the busy lunch period.

Subway Johnstone is a fairly good branch. As usual with the Subway brand, staff are well trained and food is good and fresh. I like the idea of the ‘sub of the day’ at £1.99. Good price and you get to try a different sub every day if you happen to feel like it! The only problem with the Johnstone branch I would say is that it can attract a bit of the ‘rougher’ element from Johnstone. I suppose you could say this is inevitable given it stays open so late at night and there is nowhere else to go in Johnstone if you are a certain age. The best thing is the toasted BMT with everything and mayo lite! Yum!
