I used to pop in here regularly when I lived in the area. It was a great pit-stop if I was walking between Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm. I hadn’t been in for ages but was just how I remembered it. Bright walls, lots of tempting cakes and busy with locals on a sunday afternoon. Great little coffee shop(now one of 3 or 4 on the same street). Does brunch and lunch items, coffee, juices, and fab home made cakes. It is popular with walkers and cyclists(seating outside) and service is quick and friendly. I bought 3 cakes to take out this time and paid £4.50 and next time, I’ll pop down and sit in.

Java Minute, do you see what they did there? This is an internet café called Java Minute, how HILARIOUS is that? I was laughing for hours. Well a few minutes, or seconds maybe. Ok it didn’t make me laugh at all but that’s not the point! I used to pop along to this little café during my student days when I got fed up looking at the same four walls while I was trying to studying at home. It is nice and brightly lit which is great when you’re trying to look at a computer screen and there are individual stools which face out of the big windows as well as tables and chairs for groups. Another bonus if you like to take 5 minutes out from for what your working on just to people watch before you get back in the zone! They sell the usual café type food and beverages and it is as good as anywhere else but nothing to write home about. I tended to sit here and work during week days. At the weekend it can get a little crowded and noisy with the local youths which is a pain if you’re trying to get some work done. All in all though Java Minute serves its purpose as well as any similar establishment so can’t complain!
