Pieri’s Delicatessens

It is always a pleasure to visit here and this was no exception: luxurious icecream that invokes good childhood memories; it does not get much better than this!

There is nothing like a visit to a good delicatessen for when you are feeling a bit devil may care with regards to you ham and cheese purchasing budget! Pieri’s has a nice selection of cold meats and cheeses as well as some gorgeous handmade chocolates and delicious ice cream. There is a café at the back of this deli and you can get a decent cup of proper Italian coffee and watch the big screen TV mounted on the wall.
The staff are really friendly but unfortunately as Pieri’s is quite expensive I don’t get to pop in as often as I’d like. My budget can usually only stretch to Billy Bear Ham from Asda but next time I am feeling flush I shall certainly be treating myself to some fancy smancy ham from the lovely people at Pieri’s!

A long narrow café which opens out a bit right at the back. Very pleasant, friendly staff (especially the delightful man in there whom I suspect is the owner), gorgeous coffees and delicious cakes — and the most mouth-​watering home-​made chocolates to take home! (Plus cold meats and cheeses) Rather pricey but thoroughly enjoyable. Good quality heavy cutlery too and little packets of Italian sugar. There’s a big flat screen TV at the back too which was showing snooker when we were there.
