The Benjamin Satchwell in Leamington is a Wetherspoons pub. Conveniently located on the parade, it can also be entered from the other end, opposite the St Peters car park. Tends to get very busy, most likely because of the very low prices. There are often great drinks promotions on, such as the 99p pint they are currently offering. A hot drink(tea or coffee) is very reasonable at only 99p so it’s a great place to stop and have a break from shopping. The menu offers a wide choice of food at reasonable prices. Obviously you aren’t going to get top-notch home cooked food here, but it’s still good food at a good price so can’t really complain. The pub itself has a good atmosphere, some of the furnishings in the bar area are starting to look a little run down, but the dining area is well kept.

If you want somewhere cheap to have a quick bite to eat and/or something to drink and escape the high street, then you probably might as well come here. The food is obviously microwaved and you’ll probably feel a bit dirty having eaten it, but your wallet will barely notice it an it fills a space. There is quite a lot of room and although it’s not somewhere I’d want to spend a great deal of time, when it comes to escaping rain it’s all right.
