Voodoo Bar

Voodoo bar is JUMPING on a Friday or Saturday night! We came as a group, and the only viable place to all stand together was close to the dance floor. Forget trying to stand near the bar, you won’t be able to find anything! Grab your drink and move. However, there is also a second bar in the back, too.
The atmosphere is fun and lively! There was a DJ spinning in the back and lots of people on the dance floor. Check your coat, ’cause it gets very warm on the dance floor!
This is a great place to stop and have fun after venturing to a couple other places first. The drinks are not poured too stiff (I was drinking Vodka tonics) and the prices are reasonable. This was our third stop of the night, right when we felt like dancing for a bit.
Overall, I thought this place was fairly classy looking. A few parties were happening in private booths, people dressed fairly well, but expect to be yelling to hear each other. It does get loud!

This place is reasonably large and it well priced. Not really a student venue, caters more for locals. Also shows football.

Voodoo is the place to go if you don’t fancy going to a nightclub. Large venue with two bars, open fire place and great garden.
Drinks are reasonable and they have a wine/​cocktail menu. they have their own in-​house DJ that plays all the classic tunes as well as up-​to-​date stuff. Can guarantee that someone somewhere in there will be dancing.
