Of all the things, this sparkling den of temptation is a weak spot of mine. It’s almost as if I walk in, humming in my head, «shiny happy things»,(instead of «shiny happy people») over and over. Whilst I’m more of a fan of independent and unique items, I can’t deny this gorgeous shop speaks to my inner magpie. You can purchase most styles of jewellery in this haven, be it bohemian/classic/vintage and so on, so there is often a little something for everyone. The prices aren’t amazing, given the mass produced goods, but the quality is usually dandy so one can’t complain. It’s a good shop to nip in to for a last-minute panic for that birthday you unfortunately forgot, which is always useful to bear in mind! If you’ve any kind of weakness for shiny though, enter with caution as you may find yourself having a total splurge…

I have a friend who won’t even go into these shops because she is so upset by the spelling. I am much less of a grammatical snob so it really doesn’t bother me, beside I just love the place. What can happen in these stores is that everything gets so muddled up together that when you try and take something off the hook the whole wall comes down with it. This has happened to me once or twice and needless to say I got out of there pretty quickly. This city store though is always kept tangle free making it that much easier to get to the object of your affection. For me it normally tends to be hair bands and earrings. The price is great to for the quality, I don’t think I have ever had a problem with anything I have bought there.
