Sandwich Stop

The Sandwich shop does exactly, and only what it says on the tin. Its basic, red and white exterior resembles that of an old fashioned, builders, sandwich shop from the 70’s.
I’m not one to nip into places like this as I would prefer to sit down in a relaxing setting and enjoy a half an hour break with a sandwich. Nevertheless my boyfriend loves it here and finds their sandwiches a perfect cure for his hangovers (which occur at least twice a week!)
The Sandwich shop isn’t a dirty fry up which it’s décor may infer. You can choose from many variety of breads (including a thick ciabatta bread) and vast collection of fillings. literally everything you could think of.
Most sandwiches are under £4 so you can really munch out on a budget! Perfect for hangovers or quick treat and lunch time, but don’t choose here if you want a enjoyable brew and sophisticated bite to eat.

A proper, old fashioned sandwich shop that eschews fancy ingredients like ciabatta and posh cheeses in favour of offering honest, cheap and filling grub. This simplistic approach does mean that the choice of bread and fillings on offer is often a bit uninspiring, and they certainly won’t be winning any awards any time soon, but for the scores of hungry students and workers who pour through the door their their basic approach — and matching price — is spot on.

Doing exactly what it promises to do, this place offers a welcoming stop for those in need of a sarnie at any time of the day.
It’s aimed at both the students and working people that populate the surrounding area, and as such offers budget-​type sandwiches that epitomise good, honest food.
You get a limited choice of bread, and are rather more expansive choice of filling, and the service usually comes with a smile. As you can expect, the busiest times are first thing in the morning and at lunchtime, but they still manage to do a bang up job of providing yummy, cheap sarnies.
