I know this salon rated highly so I wanted to give it a go, having moved back to Liverpool and not knowing who to trust. I got my hair cut by a graduate, who’s hands were shaking the entire time she cut my hair. She was obviously nervous and actually cut her finger whilst she was cutting my hair. I felt the layers and face shape aren’t quite right as they seem to kick out in a weird way rather than sitting flat. I called the salon to give the feedback and they kindly booked me back in to see a senior stylist to look at it again so hopefully I can get it fixed before I go away!

My girls! Loved being here so my review may be a little biased perhaps? But you won’t find a better do in the pool for a little over £20. There’s also one over the water in Birkenvegas for those of you who don’t like to leave the island. ;)

Quite possibly the best haircut I have ever had. I was vacationing in Liverpool last week and asked someone with a great hair style where she had it done and she sent me here. I walked in on a Saturday morning with no appointment and was able to get a spot immediately. I was a little nervous because everyone looked so young in there but the cut that I was given is sensational. A lot of times once I go home I cannot style it the same but I have had no problem at all and lots of compliments. Now I might just have to fly to Liverpool from Switzerland on a regular basis for a decent hair cut!

Andrew Collinge is a brand that keeps expanding all over the UK. This is the latest graduate salon that brings this world class brand to Liverpool city centre. I’ve had my hair cut both here and at the Andrew Collinge Graduates Salon in Birkenhead.
I must say, the place is very stylish, the staff are all very confident and friendly, the service is great, and they do a great haircut. I went for a cut and finish with a junior stylist and got a great cut. I would say the cut was just as good as ones I’ve had from senior stylists at both Voodou in Liverpool and Toni an Guy on Whitechapel in the city centre.
The price was very reasonable given the level of service in this place. It costs Just £21.50 for a full cut and finish including shampooing, conditioning and drying. They don’t try and push products on you after your cut, and the location of the salon is perfect!

Andrew Collinge has a graduate salon on Bold Street which offers two floors of hairdressing, styling and colouring in an inspiring new environment. The salon once used to be located in St. Johns Precinct but now it is in a more student hyped area.
This salon is one of the top hairdressers in town and you can choose whether you wish a junior stylist or anybody higher up the hierarchy to do your hair; this does of course depend on your needs and the cost is obviously higher if you wish the hairdressing manager to charge.
I have been here once before having had a simple cut and finish by a junior stylist for the cost of £21.50 (including student discount). There were no problems at all plus my hair cut was a pretty simple one with nothing technical involved. I was treated well and felt really pampered during my time. The salon as a whole is fancy and deserves a lot of credit for its services, even though it is more expensive than your standard hairdressers or barbers.

Andrew Collinge Graduates is a beautiful hair salon situated on the corner of Bold Street. It has a very classy exterior which immediately grabs attention as you saunter down one of Liverpool’s main shopping streets.
The hairdressers, which has a reputation for ‘training excellence,’ offers unisex hairdressing at a very affordable price. You can get standard cut and blow dry, hair colouring, straightening, treatments and perms. Their consultations are complimentary so if you aren’t too sure on what hairstyle you want, or would suit, you can just pop in and ask a friendly member of the team.
Student prices are much lower, a cut and finish by a junior stylist is £21.50. Obviously, the more experienced your hairdresser, the more expensive your cut. I had my hair styled by a junior and was majorly impressed with the results, overall they provided an excellent and relaxing service and I would definitely make this salon my regular.
