The Bargain Booze on Allerton Road is the Mecca for the flourishing student community that makes the road so busy and popular! They constantly have a great range of offers on all kinds of beers, wines, snacks and spirits.
They do a range of bottles beers and cans of beer from £9.95 a crate, a range of cheap and branded spirits starting from £8.95 a litre, they also stock wide range of wines starting from £2.99 a bottle, with pricey ones starting at 3 for a tenner!
They are very friendly in there but tend to run out of stock fairly quickly when there is a really decent offer on!
I would recommend this place because it is very cheap, very accessible and close to most of the key student living areas around Liverpool. They also sell fairly cheap tobacco and cigarettes in comparison to some of the mainstream stores and supermarkets.

This is one of the many Bargain Booze stores scattered around Liverpool. This one is particularly good as it is a little more spacious than most and the items, although still behind perspex protection, are a little more spread out and easier to browse through.
The staff are reasonably polite and serve customers quickly. They are happy to offer a recommendation or some advice if you need some help selecting an item.
As with the other brances in the area the shops are basic but clean and the goods are inexpensive. There are always offers for multibuys and special offers for certain items.

Bargain Booze really is a simple and to the point kind of shop: Huge range of alcohol, bullet proof glass for the attendant. What more do you need?
The shop really is summed up by the minimal care with which bargain booze seems to assign to the shop’s upkeep. Instead the savings are passed back to the customer (or I’d like to think that anyway) with rockbottom prices on beer you can’t really go wrong with bargain booze, even the stuff they are selling that is occasionally a bit out of date is still alright stuff. A simple one stop shop for drinks.
