Kelly’s Wines or wines as the fallen off sign would let you read reminds me of Smithdown road: flawed in so many ways, but perfect in so many too, Kelly’s wines is a good place to source some bargain drinks for parties, nights out and general drinking sessions. Located on Lawrence road, this no thrills off licence is similar in concept to Bargain Booze and offers varying deals dependant on stock levels and whatever they can get hold of to put on offer. This shop’s drab depressive exterior shouldn’t be enough to put anyone off their drinks (as I’m sure it currently doesn’t) and I’m sure they put more effort into the quality of their alcohol as opposed to the upkeep of their signs!
