Buffet Star

The first time I went to Buffet Star was with a group of people for a hen do. We were shown to a large table which was just right for us. The décor at Buffet Star is very lavish and looks new. The chairs and tables are well set out, having areas for small tables and rows of larger tables for groups like ours.
The food is very tasty looking and is replenished at regular intervals. I’m not a very adventurous person but give me a plate full of crispy duck and I’m very happy.
The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They come over at regular intervals to see if you need more drinks and to check that everything is OK.

Buffet Star located in Hanover Street, is popular amongst many of the oriental all you can eat buffet restaurants in the city centre. It is elegantly decorated and offers a wide range of Chinese and Thai dishes daily (over 60 varieites).
Furthermore, it is affordable for individuals, friends and family who enjoy oriental cuisine and don’t want the hassle of dining at a proper restaurant. The great aspect about all you can eat, is that there will be something that meets your taste more often than not.
The food is more than satisfactory for typical buffet style and is one of the better buffet restaurants in town. I would recommend going at less peak times as it does get busy, therefore you won’t find yourself bumping into one another when going up for food!

Good quality food in good quality surroundings that is exactly what you get at buffet star. It is the kind of place that does exactly what it says on the tin.
The website boasts over 60 different type of dishes and this is not an exaggeration at all, the food is diverse and delicious. Infact the main complaint here is that you cannot get round trying all the food you would like to as there simply is not enough space inside your stomach.
The mix of chinese and thai is effortless great classic dishes curries, chicken balls, noodles ect none of it dissappoints. Neither do the prices £6.90 for a lunch time buffet at the weekend is an insanely good price especially when you consider the quality of the food, the surroundings and the service. On the subject of the service the staff are amazing they are helpful, attentive and informative basically all round good people.
