This branch of the little-​known franchise Burger King (you might have heard of it) sits round the corner from the bottom of Bold Street and, with its two floors, manages to fail twice.
On the ground floor you’re treated to a room strewn with litter and bits of cheese, even more so than normal. The seating area upstairs is even weirder. Music apparently can’t make it up that far so the only sound is people grimly chewing like something from Nineteen Eighty-​Four.
It’s one of a handful of non-​chippies open into the wee hours but really, I should probably stop going there… soon. I promise.

This place is gross. It stinks of disinfectant when you walk in. They may as well prepare the food in a public toilet or something, that would be more appetising.
If there was nowhere else to eat in the vicinty and I had the misfortune to step in here, I would literally rather go hungry. I love burgers and chips and all those greasy things, but not when they’re made in a disgusting environment.
So unimpressed. The only positive point about this Burger King is that it has quite an expansive seating area. If your nose adjusts to the smell of toilet cleaning product and you can stand to stay in there long enough, that is.

Being a vegetarian I prefer Burger King over McDonalds mainly because they actually do a veggie burger (not impressed by McDonalds sub-​style sandwich they offer). They used to have two options but for some reason they only have one now?
This location always seems to be sold out of the veggie burgers for some reason, which is quite annoying.
The toilets are usually dirty, well I find this whole branch to be quite dirty compared to the branch on Lord St. Tables never clean, bins too full, that sort of thing.
The food is decent and typical Burger King grub. When you need a quick lunch while shopping it’s an ideal place.

Not the best burger king in the world I have to say. Very small downsairs although there is more seating up the rather narrow stairs. Food as in all burger kings, usually hot and tasty, but nothing to write home about. Could’t comment on all food as I only ever have a chicken royale! Handy for Liverpools central station and for the night life as that’s where it is based, but generally I’d always go for the bigger burger king option on Lord Street. Hving said that if you really need a burger king and nothing else will do then this outlet will fit the bill just about right

Just like any typical Burger King i have been to in the past really. Obviously the menu is the same as anywhere else and as for the staff mixed reviews. I have been on two occassions and one time i was treated very badly in which i had to wait 20 minutes because they had given someone else my meal, when i complained the guy told me to calm down (ironic seeing as though it is in liverpool) and that i should give him a break as he’s got a lot to do. Not exactly fast food in the end, but the second time i went in thankfully i was treated much better albeit from a different employee, my meal was as expected and i received it quickly and the person who served me was this time very cheery and nice
