Boom!!! I am and always will be a big fan of high-​end outlets. As pretentious and opulent as they may seem to the lower disposable income customer, these outlets bring a good reputation to any city centre. You see cities for me are urban playgrounds, the better the playground the more high rollers will come and play, and this has a knock on effect on local economy and is in the overall big picture good for the city.
Cake shop in Liverpool is such a place. It caters for a certain high-​end market, which associates quality with not only Cake shop but Liverpool. It’s a bit like Wimbledon I don’t care as I’m sure the organizers don’t who wins, because Wimbledon is the winner every year for the revenue and interest it generates for the tennis club and London in general. The quality of the cakes in here since it does cater for a certain high-​end audience is unsurprisingly immaculate. The cakes are as Isabel points out like works of art. Although it is a niche product outlet bear it in mind if you are looking for a special cake for a special occasion and are looking to go all out, this place is right up there and will cater for all your needs.

I’ve passed this place about a million times, and everytime I do I can’t help but venture in to stand aghast at the artistry of their cakes.
Whether you need a masterpiece for a wedding or birthday, this Cake Shop has so much to offer it’s unreal. You wouldn’t think the cakes were made by actual humans, they’re so perfect it looks like magical robots have been mixing flour and egg. and oh, everything else you need to make one (I’m not into baking).
If making cakes was art then this is the Tate equivalent. Although the store is small you can pretty much get everything you want from here. Of course, their creations are expensive, but one hundred percent worth it when you take into account their quality.

Take a look at our fifi cake and then look at the picture on the website, and see for yourself looks nothing like her !! Arm fell off before we got her home, and then the petals ! Shop is too busy so cant do the cakes properly, we spent our daugthers birthday playing spot the difference, and for £45 could do better myself.

This is a brilliant cake shop located in Central Station Shopping Centre and I really like that fact that you can see the staff in the back of the store busily crafting these amazing creations out of icing sugar. The quality is of an excellent standard and prices are very good. Staff are very helpful and time and care is taken to ensure you get your order exactly how you want it. They do some of the most amazing wedding cakes I have ever seen especially if you’re looking for something a bit unusual for your wedding day.
A really good range of children’s character cakes too.
