Morgana’s Lair is creepy, kooky, and altogether ooky! It’s my favorite shop in Grand Central. I scooped up gorgeous skirts(one for clubbing, one suitable for work), a corset, and a breathtaking piratety jacket. It’s great quality stuff and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Morgana’s Lair is hidden away in Grand Central. It is a small little shop with a nice range of Gothic clothing. They stock an excellent range of corsets, dresses, trousers, tops, boots and shoes. The clothing is by no means cheap but it is quite unique looking and is of a very high quality. They also sell ornaments for the home, incense, hair dye and jewellery. The staff here are friendly and helpful and more than happy to allow you to wander round and try things on if you feel like it. This shop is not for everyone, its a shop for the serious goth. But it does this area of fashion very well indeed.

This shop makes me laugh nervously. If you’re into really alternative clothing or just want a great Halloween outfit, then this is your one stop shop. Morgana’s sells all things witch-y, from skeleton heads(fake, I hope) to tarot cards and voodoo dolls. If you want to stink out your house they also sell a range of incense(I hate strong smells, sorry!) Nothing appeals to me too much in here to be honest, but the staff seem friendly enough and the shop is very well looked after. I’ll definitely head here if I ever feel like witchfying myself !

If you haven’t noticed the trend yet, I love shops with quirky and creative names, and Morgana’s Lair has gotta be among the top 10 cool shop names I’ve come across. Morgana’s Lair is an alternative clothing and witch shop. Basically, they sell gothic clothing, jewellery, corsets, tarots, witch related books, incense, fantasy greeting cards, fairy statues and figurines, witchy knickknacks, voodoo dolls, etc. There’s quite a variety of scents for incense, and some that caught my eye were: mulberry, strawberry, opium, jasmine, and pear vanilla. If you’re at all into Wicca, goth, or alternative fashion, you’ll enjoy this shop. There’s something here for everyone who favours black, loves lighting incense, or just wants an unusual gift for someone. I’m not even into this stuff(except for the TV show Charmed), and I really enjoyed poking around. Well worth the visit.
