Pavers which has recently opened, seemed like one of those affordable shops to buy footwear however once I had a look around, it had to be my first and only visit to the shop mainly because of its expensive prices and image. In terms of quality and style, shoes appeared quite satisfactory but there was nothing really that caught my eye. Pavers is definitely not the type of shop I would go for shoes, though it might attract more of the non-student type and older folks. Instead, I would actually suggest Clarks just down the street which offers a better range and quality.

Pavers shoes is definitely not a shop I would recommend to fellow students in Liverpool unless they have suddenly aged twenty or thirty years. This place is good enough for what it is but most definitely should be avoided by the younger crowd. Pavers is a shoe shop which focuses on comfort rather than style which is not something I’m a big fan of. The front of the store proclaims it to be all about fashion and well fitting shoes but only one of these statements is true and these shoes are hardly likely to catch on within the younger generation. The store itself does have a large range and is a nice enough place to be in but there is nothing here which manages to stand out at all. On the whole if your Nan is having trouble with shoes then send her here just make sure that she doesn’t drag you along with her.
